My God Son, Afrahim

Hello Everyone! Congratulate Me! Do you know why?

I have became god mother a few weeks ago. I have became god mother of a boy named Afrahim. He is son of my friend. My God Son is really cute. Isn't he the cutest? I had to wait for a few days to see him because I was sick for almost two weeks. When I went to see him the other day, I was so amused to see him. He made me so happy. It was so wonderful to hold him in my hand. It's a feeling that occure when you actually become a mother. And finally I became a mother or at least a godmother. Afrahim is growing up now.

About MySelf

I am from Bangladesh. It is located between India and Pakistan. The country was used to call East Pakistan. It became Independance in the year of 1971. I am from the city of Comilla. I was born in a village. I am the eldest of my family. My father has two brothers and two sisters. All of my aunts have boys. As a result, I was only girl from my family until my younger sister was born in the year of 1992. I was the princess of my family. Now, one of my uncle has a girl and I have three sisters. Now, my family has more girls than boys. HAHAHAHA
Can you believe that I went from princess to just eldest child of the family. I have finished my Bachelor in Science in the year of 2002. I started working when I was in college as a part time worker. But now, I work for a COOP as a system manager.

About my Family

Today I will talk about my family. Hmmm! Let's see who are the people in my family. I have a brother who is sixteen years old. He is an excellent and talented boy. He goes to Brookly Tech and he is a wonderful brother. Then the rest three are my sisters. Older one is thirteen years old. She goes to intermediate school and going to graduate very soon. I am hoping that she will follow my brother's path or at least try to be there. Next one is seven years old and she is in 2nd grade. She is a cute girl but kind to spoilt. Finally the last one is six years old. She is an excellent girl also. Yah Yah!!! I know I have a big family but the thing is that I really love them so much.

They are hearts of my Life. They love me and I love them too!!! They would listen to me. They do whatever I tell them to do. Hold up; Don't think that I tell them to do my laundry.

Happy Eid Mubarak!! January 10th, 2006

Do you know what is Eid? Ok, let me tell you something about it. It is one of the religious holiday for all muslims. We celebrate it twice a year. One is after one months of fasting which is called Ramadan and another one is after two months and 10 day of the Ramadan.

Eid is an islamic holiday that is celebrated by all muslims. There are two kinds of Eid. Eid Ul Fitr comes after the end of Ramadan and it means to break which symbolizes the breaking of the fasting period and of all evil habits. Eid Ul Adha is celebrated exactly two months and ten days later.On the day of the celebration, a typical muslim family gets up very early and gets properly dressed up and finally attends special prayers held in big mosques, in large open areas, stadiums. After the prayers, everyone visits homes of friends and relatives. Eid is a time to come together as a community and to renew friendship and family ties. This is a time for peace for all Muslims in the world to devote to prayers and mutual well-being.

Happy Day With My Friend

Today I had a surprising visit from one of my old best friend who went to college with me. When we were in college, we used to hang around a lot. She alway had taken care of me, back me up with financial problem. I was extremely shocked and suprise to see her at my work. She is like my sister (older sister). I almost had lost contact with her for a long time. I was working and suddenly I heard my name on the microphone. The messenger mentioned that someone came to see me. I went to the main entrance, there was her waiting for me. As soon as I saw her, I took my lunch break just to be with her for an hour. We went to Dunkin Donuts and ordered two cups of coffee and we discussed about our lifestyle. I was very happy to see her, Really Happy.
